Ed Prep I provides students with the opportunity to gain foundational skills needed to grow as learners, future educators, and communicators. This course focuses on the history, theory and professionalism needed to understand the educational system. Students receive practice in communication skills, planning, teaching, and assessment strategies. Students will also participate in job shadowing and field experience opportunities.

Educator Preparation - Year 2

Ed Prep II provides students with the opportunity to gain knowledge and understand advanced information that must be instilled in educators. Students receive information pertaining to advanced communication skills, diverse learners, and various subject areas needed to work in the educational system. Students will also continue to participate in job shadowing and field experience opportunities.

Educator Rising Logo

Educators Rising is a career and technical student organization (CTSO) with intra-curricular learning opportunities integrated into existing education and training programs. Educators Rising is a community-based movement that provides Grow Your Own programming through the Educators Rising Curriculum and supporting student activities. With a presence in all 50 states, chapters are provided classroom resources along with the opportunity to attend the National Conference where members, teacher leaders, and educators from around the nation come together to showcase the skills they have gained in their education and training programs.
